Premium Heavy (100LB) Magazine Cover
Our Premium Heavy Magazine Cover paper is a 100LB Cover paper which weighs 270gsm (grams per square meter). We refer to this as a magazine cover as it is a standard weight for some covers of magazines. Some options may require scoring before folding so that the folds keep their shape better. This type of paper is much thicker than your average printer paper and may cause printers to jam. This paper is quite thick and heavy, making it ideal for brochures, flyers, letterhead, posters, rack cards, and more.

Premium Heavy (100LB) Magazine Book
Our Premium Heavy Magazine Book is a 100LB Text/Book paper, which weighs 150gsm (grams per square meter), making it thinner and lighter than our Magazine Cover. This paper is easier to bend and fold than the magazine cover and may not require scoring before folding. This type of paper is still thicker and heavier than your average printer paper, making it ideal for handouts while being able to fold and bend the paper. This paper is used for brochures, flyers, sell sheets, newsletters, and more. 

Medium (80LB) Magazine Cover
Our Medium Magazine Cover is an 80LB Cover paper weighing in at 215gsm (grams per square meter). This paper is thicker than our Premium Heavy Magazine Paper, but thinner than our Premium Heavy Magazine Cover. This type of paper may also require being scored before folding to keep the folds in place. This paper is much thicker than your average printer paper, making it ideal for brochures, flyers, posters, invitations, and table tent cards. 

Medium (80LB) Magazine Book
Our Medium Magazine Book is an 80LB Text/Book paper, which weighs 120gsm (grams per square meter). This paper is the thinnest paper we offer for brochures and flyers. This paper feels thicker and heavier than your average printer paper, but is quite easy to bend and fold without requiring scoring. This type of paper is commonly used as magazine paper, newsletters, flyers, sell sheets, and brochures. 

Gloss Cover
The Gloss Cover is a heavier paper stock than the Gloss Book. It will seem almost double the thickness of the Gloss Book and is more comparable to cardstock, the material we print postcards on, than paper. This paper will also be naturally slightly glossy, although the finish depends more on the coating option chosen.  
 
Gloss Book
Gloss Book is a thinner paper stock than its Gloss Cover counterpart. This paper is more comparable to normal printer paper, thickness-wise. This paper has a slight sheen to it due to its gloss base, but can be made semi-glossy or completely glossy based on the coating option chosen. 
 
Dull Book 
This paper is thinner due to it being book paper rather than cover paper. The dull book is slightly less matte than the Matte Book paper, but still not shiny. Images will appear crisp without being reflective. 
 
Matte Book 
Matte book is a thinner paper stock that is not reflective. The matte book gives off a clean finish that is easy to read. 

Satin Semi-Gloss
Our Satin Semi-Gloss is a Satin Aqueous coating. Similar to our Semi-Gloss, this coating creates a semi-glossy finish, making print and images easier to read. The Satin addition creates a slightly more matte finish to the semi-gloss than our semi-gloss without satin.

Semi-Gloss
Our Semi-Gloss is an aqueous coating. This water-based coating finish is shiny and smooth, and is done in line flood coated on the press. It provides a semi-gloss surface that deters dirt and fingerprints.

Matte
Matte paper is our least shiny, coated paper. Matte coating gives your flyers or brochures a diffused shine, boosting the contrast of images and creating an overall smooth looking finish to your products. 

Dull
Dull Paper is a less shiny type of paper that you are able to write on. Similar to Matte, but with even less sheen. This type of paper is ideal for reading.

No Extra Coating 
No Extra Coating means that there will be no additional coating to whatever paper type you choose. For example, if you chose Gloss Cover, your paper will be slightly glossy, but not as glossy as if you got a gloss coating. The paper will have a slight shine to it, but will not be the same as a flyer with gloss coating. The coating after printing is what gives your paper it’s main shine. 

Gloss
Our Gloss coating is a UV Coating, which is used to protect your paper. Our Gloss coating is a high-gloss lamination that improves the durability and look of the card for a long period of time. Please note that Gloss coating is not able to be written or printed on top of. 

Uncoated
Uncoated paper is paper that does not have any extra coating applied. Please note that because our letterhead and envelope premium paper stock is "uncoated", we recommend you not use colors with high color density. By this we mean dark colors (black, purple, blue, brown, etc). Dark colors tend to get soaked into the paper if their color values are too high. For best results, use light colors.

A score on a brochure is a indent where the fold will go. Scores must be applied to our gloss cover paper types as the paper is so thick and needs assistance on the fold. 

Score & Half-Fold

A half fold consists of folding the paper directly in half so that both sides are of equal length.

Score & Tri-Fold

A tri fold consists of folding the two outer edges of the length-side paper inwards on itself. This type of fold is also known as a letter fold.

Score & Z-Fold

A z fold consists of folding the paper in a zig-zag pattern on itself to create a z-shape with the paper. 

No Fold or Score

This paper is flat with no folding.
