Yes! Union orders are printed through Inkpressionists with Allied Label # 33.

Stakes can be chosen based on preference. Both size stakes can be used with 12x18” and 18x24” signs.

  • 24” stakes are great if you want your sign to be visible and it is also great with wind resistance.
  • 30” stakes allow your sign to stand out more since it’s higher, however, if you live in a windy area, it’s not recommended.

Orders need to be placed first before a proof is sent over. Our creative team is a group of designers that work with passion to ensure that all of our clients obtain the desired proof requested. However, since we offer custom orders, each design takes its own dedicated time and labor.

Thanks for coming back for another order! A "reorder" on a custom product indicates a new order with the same design as previous. Changing something on the order is not considered a reorder, rather a new order. If your original order was designed on our website, you can go to your portfolio and "create new version" which will allow you to start with the original design and modify from there.

To ensure that all information on the artwork is correct, along with colors, we do require an approval for design proofs. We want our customers to be satisfied with the final product.

There are three options for designing and customizing a product. Click a product on the left-hand panel and choose one of the options.

1. Custom Design: lets you customize the products. Click it to open the design studio and use multiple tools to create your own design.

2. Upload Design: using this option, you can upload your own JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, EPS, AI, PDF and PSD images.

3. Browse Design: use this to select hundreds of pre-loaded templates. Work on them or customize them through our design studio.

Each design created by our creative team is owned by UZ Marketing. Unfortunately, designs created by us cannot be downloaded or used outside of UZ Marketing.

Of course! We offer different bundle deals when our creative team creates your own unique logo. Here you can find all the information about the different bundles that we offer https://uzmarketing.com/our-work/logo-design/

Please note that only logos created through this link will be available to be reused by the customer as they please. Other than that, all designs created by our designing team are owned by UZ Marketing.

You may find your design by logging into your account and clicking on “Orders” once clicked, you will see your order shown. Click on the “Approve design or submit revision.” You will then be led to a pop up screen to choose  your option. Please do keep in mind we will never print anything without your approval unless you create the design or upload to your order.

You can find your proof of your design in your account under orders. You will see the proof to the left of your order details.

You may pick up your item(s) in our pick up station at our warehouse located at 5900 Bingle Rd. Houston, TX, 77092.

Online Printing System is a prepress process that bridges the gap between online digital content and commercial print production. The process allows a print house, a client or a graphic designer to create, edit, and approve computer-based online templates during the prepress phase. This process increasingly calls for a Portable Document Format (PDF) workflow environment with output provided by digital printing.

This solution will make your company run more efficiently and profitably by streamlining your business processes, maximizing your resources and eliminating redundant operations.

EDDM: Postcards go to every single house or business on a mailing route. For EDDM there is no mailing list or postage permit required, saving money and time. In the link below you are able to select your routes if you want to do EDDM through UZ Marketing. https://eddm.usps.com/eddm/customer/routeSearch.action

Direct Mail: Postcards go directly to the addresses provided on a list such as homes or a business. Below we have an example of how to set up direct mailing when our team requires the list to proceed with direct mailing.

With Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) sizes, you can offer your customers an easy, cost effective way to deliver their message to every door. UZ Marketing makes it easy by offering the sizes and stocks that fit into the EDDM restrictions.

Use the USPS online tool to target areas you want to reach with your mailing — choose routes by neighborhood, ZIP Code, or city.
Get your mailing to every mailbox along the chosen routes — delivered by USPS Letter Carriers with the day's mail.
Spend as little as 14.5 cents per piece on postage.
For more information on how EDDM works, please visit
https://www.usps.com/business/every-door-direct-mail.htm

NOTE: For all EDDM products, you are responsible for setup and delivery to USPS for EDDM processing. UZ Marketing will use our standard bulk packaging to process your order. No additional or specific handling is available through UZ Marketing. USPS requirements for EDDM include choosing the area for mailing from the USPS system, bundling the postcards in packs of 50 and labeling each bundle for the preselected route. UZ Marketing will not be responsible for these requirements.

The type of paper used for difference purposes is expressed in weight. In the countries following the European system, it is grammes per square metre (gsm or g/m2 or simply g) and in the US system it is Pound (lb).

The paper used for writing/printing (letterheads and such stationery) is generally between 60 to 120 gsm (20 to 70 lb) and is called the paper or text stock. Anything heavier than this is considered the card stock, i.e. the paper used for business cards, postcards, greeting cards, etc.

Coated papers are available in two finishes – glossy (shiny and smooth) and matte (flat and lusterless). Coated glossy papers reflect the light evenly so they are suitable for almost all types of printing jobs. Glossy papers have a good ink holdout, which is important for creating sharp, bright images.

This would be considered two sets of 50, and will be charged accordingly

To print your image, we make a stencil called a "Screen" which contains your image. Once it's made, we load it onto the press. Ink passes through the stencil and essentially paints the stencil onto the material. Since a second image would require creation of a second stencil, it is considered a different order.

Yard signs are made with corrugated plastic and have a thickness of 4mm, or approximately 3/16". Corrugated plastic can last anywhere from 5-20 years, depending on weather conditions.

Our 14pt Natural Cards are a light cream, natural white color with a smooth finish. The stock has a minimum of 30% post-consumer waste content. Samples are available in our UZ Marketing Sample kit.

NCR Forms are the modern alternative to carbon paper and are an efficient way to provide multicolored copies of a single document with handwritten or typed information. They are most commonly used as order forms, packing lists, invoices, receipts, and more.

NCR forms are available in 2 Part (White, Canary) and 3 Part (White, Canary, Pink) collated sets that are glued on the short edge.

NCR Forms are commonly used for order forms, packing lists, invoices, applications and receipts. They are particularly useful when information must be entered by hand.

Stake sizes can vary depending on each custom order and what your preference is. However, here's the description of each stake and how it affects the look of the yard sign.

15" stakes - They're the shortest size we offer and typically all signs will be touching the ground. It works best for areas where it's very windy so it can hold up the sign.

24" stakes - This is the next size up and it allows the sign to be seen more due to how tall it is.

30" stakes - For any windy areas, we wouldn't recommend to use these stakes. They will fall over with the sign. However, they're a good choice if you want your sign to make a statement.

Unfotunately, for any of our products, not just yard signs, we do require for each order to be printed with its own design. For different designs, we recommend placing them as separate orders with their corresponding artwork.

The pricing that we offer on our website is the final pricing. Unfotunately, we cannot split any orders and offer the same pricing. For different quantities and designs, we recommend placing a new order. Eeach order will have its corresponding pricing.

Yes, our NCR forms come pre-collated. They come in 2 Part (White, Canary) and 3 Part (White, Canary, Pink) forms and are glued on the short edge.

Perfect Binding gives your booklets a more finished, refined look. With this binding method, the pages and cover are glued together at the spine with a strong, yet flexible, thermal glue.

Please note: The page count specified in the product name does not include the cover.

Perfect Bound Book

Yes we do! For yard signs that are screen printed we offer color match, meaning, that we can print the design with the special colors that are requested. If full color printing on yard signs is selected, then color match is not available since we provide digital printing. T-shirts or any other textiles automatically come with color matching as stated on the website.

For the rest of the products, if the color match option is not available then it means we cannot provide special colors for that product.

UZ Marketing offers color match as an option to our customers where they’re allowed to pick any pantone color code that they want. This makes the customer’s artwork more accurate when it comes to colors.

Pantone Colors: Referred to as “PMS” (Pantone Matching System), is a system used within manufacturing and printing companies. By using this system, customers are able to refer to colors by using a code and avoids color deviation between the finished product and the artwork. Our printers only use PMS colors to color match.

CMYK
CMYK is also known as a four color process that stands for CYAN, MAGENTA, YELLOW, and BLACK. These are used in digital printing.

RGB
RGB is the primary colors of light which are Red, Green, and Blue. These colors are used in monitors, televison screens, scanners, or digital cameras. It's not recommended for digital printing since colors will shift 5-7% to CMYK format.

For yard signs and T-shirts, designs can be uploaded as RGB since we do offer color matching, so the colors can be almost as vibrant. However, for the rest of the products we recommend to use CMYK format.

300 dpi (dots per inch) is the resolution of the output PDF file.

Bleed must extend past the cut-line and will be trimmed from the product during the final cutting phase. When the image is required to extend all the way to the edge, bleed is needed to preserve the finished look and the quality of the final product.

Please keep all text at least 0.125" inside the cut-line.

- The bleed for Standard Products is 0.125".
- The bleed for Booklets and Presentation Folders is 0.25".

When a job is coated with UV then scored and folded the job may begin to crack. During use, the cracks will become bigger and the ink may start to chip off.

Scoring

Cracking is normal when coated jobs are scored and folded. Ordering the job without UV will help but may not prevent this. As the job is used and folded more and more, cracking will eventually happen.

If you send us an RGB file, there is a chance that a color shift may occur and you may not be satisfied with your job.

RGB vs CMYK

You should always start and finish your designs in CMYK color mode.

There are three different ways Pantone colors can affect the way your job prints.

The first is by object effects, such as shadows or glows, on top of your Pantone colors. Here is what the effects will look like on screen:

Here is what the effect looks like after printing:

after

This shows that when a Pantone color is under these object effects, transparency issues show up during printing. To avoid this, convert all your Pantone colors into CMYK before submitting your order.

The second way Pantone colors can affect your file is when you use transparent images. Here is what a transparent image looks like on screen:

Here is what a transparent image looks like after printing:

You can see the image is no longer transparent on top of the Pantone color. These white areas will show up during printing. To fix this issue, convert all your Pantone colors into CMYK. If you need to have a Pantone color in your art, for example when doing a silver 877c job, you must create a clipping mask around the image so the white area will not show up. This must be done before submitting the order.

The last way Pantone colors can affect your order is the color conversion between a Pantone color and CMYK. All of our normal printing is done in CMYK unless you specifically order a Silver, MU, or Custom job. If you use Pantone colors in a job that will print CMYK, your job might print with undesirable colors.

Here are some examples of what the Pantone color looks like in the Pantone color book and what the CMYK print will look like:

If you send in a job with Pantone colors, the CMYK conversion will change the Pantone color. Before sending your order, make sure all Pantone colors have been converted to CMYK.

They are perfect for outdoor use. The film is designed to accept a variety of solvent based and curable inks. The liner offers excellent product layflat, adhering easily to most bumpers and enabling them to withstand a variety of environmental conditions.

Yes, UZ Marketing Bumper Stickers are intended for use on car bumpers and are resistant to even the harshest weather conditions. Outdoor application will not result in product damage.

UZ Marketing Bumper Stickers use a strong permanent adhesive. We do not recommend removing them once they've been applied.

We recommend that you do not specifically design on the spine. Backgrounds or images that wrap around the book are preferred. Creating designs with text, borders or colors that are centered only on the spine may cause it to look uneven during the binding process.

Currently we do not offer samples for Perfect Bound Booklets.

No. We are now specifically set up to process one side at a time, and this requires that each side of a job must be on a separate file.

Not separating files will cause delays and you might have to send the files again. Remember to separate the pages of your .pdf files as well

Primarily used to intentionally overlap inks for a number of reasons, overprint can cause unexpected results. We suggest that you turn all overprint objects off before submitting your files.

In this case the logo was set to overprint. The colors from logo are mixing with the colors from the background. Unexpected results may occur if you have accidentally set certain objects to overprint. Always check logos and other artwork before submitting.

When sending artwork, do not send extra files, like proofs or samples, because they might get printed. Only send the files you need printed. We are not responsible for these kinds of files being printed. Unless requested by one of our employees, DO NOT send files that you do not want printed.

When using a blue in your design, always make sure to leave at least a 30% difference in your Cyan and Magenta values.

100% C 100% M 0% Y 0% K

Blue is close to purple in the CMYK spectrum. Remember, use a low amount of magenta whenever using high amounts of cyan to avoid purple.

Rich black is an ink mixture of solid black, 100% K, with additional CMY ink values. This results in a darker tone than black ink alone. If you print black alone as 100% K, the resulting black may not be as dark as you might like.

rich black

We recommend using
C 60 M 40 Y 40 K 100
This will give you a deep, dark, rich black.

Many things can cause banding. Banding may be caused by the program that it is exported from, such as Indesign or Corel. Too many gradient steps, for example going from a very light color to a dark color, in a small area will cause banding.

banding

To prevent this, check your digital files before sending. If you use a gradient, make sure it has enough room for a smooth transition.

UZ Marketing requires Print Ready files with proper rotation. Files submitted are printed HEAD to HEAD as-is based off your files. The head is always the top of your file.

Make sure to set up your files so that when we print them HEAD to HEAD the final product will read the way you would like. Also, front and back files need to be set up either both sides vertically or both sides horizontally.

Yes, we can print full color (CMYK) on each sheet or you can choose to use only black ink.

In the printing industry, bleed refers to the colors that go beyond the safety line where the area will be trimmed off.

The standard printing industry usually prints leaving white space around the edges. Full bleed often gives a more professional effect to print jobs, but it's up to the customer on how they want the design to look like.

Our NCR forms can be imprinted on a variety of equipment, but we recommend you test your specific application.

Yes, we do! We can competitively price match and beat any competitor by 5%, making UZ Marketing the cheapest on the market. When price matching with our competitors, all the preferences of the item must align with UZ Marketing. They include taxes, order specifications and shipping.

As a growing company in the printing industry, prices can update throughout the years.
